Week 3, Task 1: Tapu and noa

Baptism could be used as an example of embodying tapu and noa in the western world, with this tradition, many people attending the baptism are observing a sacred religious practice, giving them alot of mana. The priest conducting the baptism has alot of tapu in his hands from his mana as his position. The water has tapu and the child is the one having the tapu bestowed on them. After that, they are considered cleansed and noa is instilled. Time of the baptism, the church, the onlookers, the parents, the subject are also tapu, only to be made noa after the ceremony.
